I have been in the industry since 1989 and grew up in the home of a dedicated stock agent and farmer.
My career has taken me throughout the North and South Islands and I have enjoyed the great support of my lovely wife Victoria.
We have three children named Angus, Alexandra and Jacquetta. My interests include cycling, tennis, the kids' sports (rowing, hockey, rugby, cricket, basketball, gymnastics etc) and rugby.
I have been in the industry since 1983 and worked in Marlborough, Canterbury and South Canterbury as a livestock rep before moving into management roles since 2000 covering Canterbury and later the entire South Island.
I am married to Pip and we have two great children, Ollie and Kate. My interests are following the children's sports, family time and, of course, rugby.
I have 20 years’ experience as a finance professional across a number of industries, the last 12 years in Agribusiness. My wife Louise and I have two school age children, James and Elanor. Interests include the outdoors, walking and fishing, spending time with family and friends, and following sport.
I have had spent most of my working life-time in the stock and station industry starting in Christchurch at PGG in the wool division in 1987. The past 20 years have been spent working across the North Island in various roles including wool, finance and management roles. I now reside in Hawkes Bay with my wife Ginny and we have 3 school age boys. Interests include cricket, rugby, farming and travel.
I have had a 30 year banking and finance career including 22 years at ASB Bank in their Rural division. My most recent executive position was General Manager Rural at ASB – leading a team of 200 across New Zealand. I’m proud to join the Hazlett team – a focused and ambitious business passionately delivering to the needs of our farming clients and of course our team. Outside of work I hold a handful of independent director and advisory board roles. I’m married to Lou, have three boys and we are actively involved in the outdoors with a lot of sport!
I joined the Hazlett Insurance team as a specialist commercial insurance broker in January 2020, having worked in the insurance industry since 2008. Over that time, I have worked for major New Zealand and London based brokers. My experience is across a variety of insurance disciplines including technical claims management, risk management, business analysis, broking team management and corporate-level broking. My role at Hazlett is 100% client focused, adding to the commercial broking capabilities already within the company.
I was born and bred in Canterbury and returned back to Christchurch in 2018 after years away in Dunedin, Wellington and London. I enjoy fishing, tramping, snow and water sports and a range of social sports now that the best of my playing days are behind me.
It’s exciting to be part of the Hazlett Insurance team, who look to drive a high quality and high service level approach to their clients, always with a strong relationship focus.
Born and bred in South Canterbury with Pleasant Point being home for my formative years, living in a small rural town I was immersed in all things agricultural from a young age. My father was a shearer for 40 plus years, which is something I always endeavoured to replicate. However, following completion of my studies at Lincoln University I chose a career path that didn’t necessarily require a sweat towel. I started my agri-supplies venture undertaking a store-based role in Timaru which then led to a sales representative role focusing on agronomy. Some overseas travel thereafter, before settling back in Timaru for another sales representative role. From there, in the process of shifting to Christchurch, I switched from retail sales to wholesale where I worked for a wholesale seed company for 13 years. My wife Alice and I have two boys, Finn & Monty. I am a long-suffering Warriors fan - I love watching cricket and enjoy going on tramps with the family, with the goal of completing all the NZ great walks.
