I have been in the industry since 1989 and grew up in the home of a dedicated stock agent and farmer.
My career has taken me throughout the North and South Islands and I have enjoyed the great support of my lovely wife Victoria.
We have three children named Angus, Alexandra and Jacquetta. My interests include cycling, tennis, the kids' sports (rowing, hockey, rugby, cricket, basketball, gymnastics etc) and rugby.
I have been in the industry since 1983 and worked in Marlborough, Canterbury and South Canterbury as a livestock rep before moving into management roles since 2000 covering Canterbury and later the entire South Island.
I am married to Pip and we have two great children, Ollie and Kate. My interests are following the children's sports, family time and, of course, rugby.
I have been in the stock and station industry since in 1989 with Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd in Christchurch.
Commencing as a finance manager I progressed into management roles in finance and real estate as well as a period of branch management in Ashburton & Christchurch.
I am married to Jane and we have 3 children. We are a family of keen trampers, water skiiers and gardeners.
“I am delighted to be a recent addition to the Hazlett Rural team.
My experience in agriculture ranges from grass roots farming through to executive agribusiness positions and I look forward to helping Hazlett Rural build on its outstanding success to date.
I am married to Kaye and we have two adult sons.”
I have had spent most of my working life time in the stock and station industry starting in Christchurch at PGG in the wool division in 1987. The past 20 years have been spent working across the North Island in various roles including wool, finance and management roles. I now reside in Hawkes Bay with my wife Ginny and we have 3 school age boys. Interests include Cricket, rugby, farming and travel.
I am born and bred in Christchurch. I was educated at Christchurch Boy’s High school and then Lincoln University attaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1994. I started working at State Insurance as a Commercial Inspector in the Riccarton branch. When IAG purchased State Insurance and then NZI I took some time out to travel overseas, through UK and Europe and then onto the United States to play rugby. On my return to New Zealand I returned to employment with NZI as regional manager for the Client Placement Facility (CPF) and managing the Aon relationship. I had a staff of 10 up and down the South Island that I was responsible for After 15 years there it was time for a change and here I am at Hazlett Rural! The opportunity to work here was too great a one to turn down and so far I am loving every moment of it. There is a great bunch of talented people working here and we have such an extensive and broad range of rural and commercial clients that I’m looking forward to meeting and working with in the future. Family life for my wife Sarah and I revolves around the children’s sport on weekends. Jack is 7 and he is rugby and cricket mad, and my daughter Sophie, 10 is hockey and cricket mad but is absolutely nuts about dancing, acting and singing as well. They are also avid skiers in the winter time so that really rules out much down time in the weekends!
