I have been in the finance industry since leaving school when I began working for a trading bank in Dunedin for 10 years before heading on my OE to London. I spent 3 years working overseas in the international banking sector and the Queens Bank in London. I also spent a lot of time travelling through the Middle East, Europe, Russia and Africa. On my return from my OE I worked for PGG before leaving to have a family.
I am married to Greg with 2 wonderful children, Caleb and Brooke. I enjoy been involved in my kids' activities which includes soccer, swimming, tennis, cricket and gymnastics.
Having grown up on a sheep & beef farm near Waiau I was always keen to work in the rural sector. After studying Business for 2 years I got my first job in the office of a livestock company, working full-time for 7 years and then part-time after starting our family.
My husband Matt and I have 2 amazing wee boys, Baxter and Jed. In our spare time we enjoy spending time with our family and friends. Baxter plays RugbyTots so Saturday mornings you will find us cheering him along.
I am really enjoying my role in Finance & Procurement.
I grew up on a farm in Kaikoura and have wonderful memories of farm life. I then went to the big smoke and was educated at a Girls School in Christchurch and started my working career.
I worked for several years in the export industry exporting wool, skins and animal by products. I then established a successful business in partnership with my husband, which gave me the flexibility to spend time with my children while they were young - they are now young adults. I then moved onto HRL and have been here pretty much from the start of the wee company which is not so wee anymore.
I enjoy walks, gardening and generally socialising with friends and family (and I'll watch rugby if it's on).
I have lived in Christchurch all my life and I have been in the insurance world for 14 years, 12 months ago I made the move to be part of the HRL team and am absolutely loving being part of such an awesome team. I am looking forward to learning all about the rural sector as I think deep down I am really meant to be a country girl. In my spare time I love nothing better than curling up in the sun with my nose in a good book. My partner Geoff and I have discovered travelling in the last 4 or 5 years ( now all the kids are grown) and have been to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia a few times and absolutely love it and would highly recommend it as a “go to” place to chill. I look forward to my future with HRL and feel very proud that I am part of the HRL family.
I have been involved in the stock & station industry since 1984 starting at PGG as an office junior for 3 years then 2 years on the road as a livestock rep before shifting back to the livestock office for the next the 15 years. I have also worked for Frews Transport as a dispatcher and sales rep for 10 years before joining Hazlett Rural. I am married to Marg and have 2 children Georgia & Jacob, my interests include rugby, golf and tennis.
I was born in Dunedin but have spent most of my time in Christchurch. After graduating from University with a Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Taxation, I started working in the insurance industry where I remained for 5 years before moving to the finance team in HRL. In my spare time, I like to go for walks and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have joined HRL in June 2017 and I look forward to the challenges in my new career.

In my spare time, I love to cook, shop and spend time with my family.
In the motor vehicle industry for well over 15 years doing administration and finance, I have swapped tires for hooves. Having grown up in the city it didn’t take much to convert me into a farm girl when I meet my partner, who is involved in the farming sector. We now have a small sheep farm in North Canterbury. I really enjoy the hands-on learning about livestock. I have two grown boys who now live in Australia and two step-sons. My interests include cycling, touch, watching rugby, and spending time with family and friends.
After qualifying as an accountant, I worked in the Stock & Station industry from 1986 until 1999. Since then I have worked at Day-Timers, Hawksbury Trust, and most recently for the CDHB at Burwood Hospital. I am married to Ann and we have two great adult children. I am an avid Canterbury, Crusaders and All Blacks fan and go to all home games. I also enjoy travelling, cycling and camping.
I grew up on sheep and beef farms in both South Canterbury and North Canterbury so the rural way of
life is definitely in my blood.
After leaving school in I spent a year working as a receptionist for a blind cleaning company before moving into the rural industry where I worked in the office for a livestock company for 10 years.
At the beginning of 2016 my husband Matt and I welcomed our first child, Blake, then in April 2018 we welcomed our second child, Jade with them both keeping us busy. In spare time I love to get outdoors and spend time with friends and family. I also love to spend time in the kitchen baking.
I joined the Hazlett Funding & Procurement team in May 2017 and am really enjoying my role here with a great team.
