I have been in the industry since 1983 and worked in Marlborough, Canterbury and South Canterbury as a livestock rep before moving into management roles since 2000 covering Canterbury and later the entire South Island.
I am married to Pip and we have two great children, Ollie and Kate. My interests are following the children's sports, family time and, of course, rugby.
Jack was born, bred & educated in Southland. On leaving school Jack began his farming career in Northern Southland before moving on to work on properties in both Otago & Canterbury. In 1979 Jack took on his first management role on a property owned by Landcorp. In 1986 he moved to the Waikaka area to take up further management roles until 2005 when he was appointed to the position of Sales & Marketing Manager for Wairere South Romney’s, before joining the team here in July 2012.
Jack continues to live in Waikaka and will be covering the Southland and Otago areas.
Outside of family his interests include rugby, dog trials & harness racing. He is very much involved in the local community of Waikaka and the surrounding district.
Nick was born and raised as a true Southlander, growing up on a sheep farm on the outskirts of Winton. After attending Central Southland College he started his stock and station career as a trainee agent based in Lumsden with Wrightson. After moving around most of Southland and 12 years as a lamb drafter for Alliance Group Ltd he ended up as a livestock rep based out of Gore.
Nick joined the team back in March 2021 and is really looking forward to bringing his auctioneering and livestock skills to the company. Nick has the upmost respect for all his clients and their families and can usually be seen helping in the community when it comes to fundraising events.
Nick and Lea have three children and live on a 50ha property on the outskirts of Riversdale. In his spare time Nick enjoys following the kids sport, is a committee member of the Northern Southland Trotting Club and loves it on the West Coast white baiting.
Austin is a born and bred Southlander spending his younger years in Gore attending secondary school at St Peters College. During Austin’s school holidays he spent time on his grandfather’s farm and as he got older he then started working on both sheep and beef farms around the Gore district gaining knowledge in all areas of the farming sector. He also secured himself a part-time job as a barman in a local pub.
In 2016 Austin attended Lincoln University completing a Diploma in Agriculture and during mid-2017 joined the team as a Livestock Broker.
In his spare time Austin plays Division 2 Rugby for Albion Excelsior in Gore and spends time with his mates.
