I have had spent most of my working life-time in the stock and station industry starting in Christchurch at PGG in the wool division in 1987. The past 20 years have been spent working across the North Island in various roles including wool, finance and management roles. I now reside in Hawkes Bay with my wife Ginny and we have 3 school age boys. Interests include cricket, rugby, farming and travel.
I was born in Waikari and raised in the Upper Waimak Gorge. I have a passion for all things farming and this has taken me from Canterbury arable, stud stock and dairy farms to similar experiences for 6 years in Australia and Scotland. Luckily I met a good kiwi girl, Sarah and we have settled down in Hororata. We have 3 young sons, Lachlan, Rory and Dougal. I am looking forward to supporting them in their sporting lives with the oldest starting rugby soon. Hockey, hunting and tramping are my other keen interests.
Previously I was servicing farmers in the Selwyn/Ashburton areas for staff recruitment. I now enjoy working for Hazlett doing Agri Supplies and working with farmers in these Districts.
