I have had spent most of my working life-time in the stock and station industry starting in Christchurch at PGG in the wool division in 1987. The past 20 years have been spent working across the North Island in various roles including wool, finance and management roles. I now reside in Hawkes Bay with my wife Ginny and we have 3 school age boys. Interests include Cricket, rugby, farming and travel.
I am born and bred in the Rangitikei and was bought up on the family sheep, beef and cropping farm just out of Marton. On leaving school I worked locally on farms as well as for cropping and hay contractors in the region. I spent two social years at Lincoln College playing rugby then 3 years overseas. I am married to Brigid and have two daughters, Penny, living in Christchurch and Lucy, living in Melbourne. I love all sport and still get around the odd hunt field on horse back. I have been in the rural supplies industry for the past 13 years and have been lucky enough to work alongside some very innovative farmers during that time. I am passionate about agronomy and being involved on farm in growing the best possible crops and pastures for my clients. It is exciting being in on the ground floor with Hazlett in the North Island and I am looking forward to expanding their business in the region.
